Pastor Amy Barr is a life-long resident of Morrow County. In addition to Marengo UMC, Pastor Amy serves Sparta and Centerburg UMCs. Born and raised in Mt. Gilead, she graduated from MGHS in 2002. She received a B.A. in French from Wright State University in 2005, and an M.Div. from the Methodist Theolgical School in Ohio in 2023. She and her husband Jeremy have been married since 2006, and have one daughter, Carolyn.
Before serving at Marengo, Sparta, and Centerburg, Pastor Amy served at Liberty, Martel, and Canaan UMCs in Marion and Morrow counties.
